Subscription terms of service

1. Purpose

These terms govern the online subscription to the TAX GlobalLex service plan chosen by the client (the "Plan"), with the content described on the website at the date of purchase. The service is aimed at businesses and professionals.

2. Purchase and activation

The contract is formed when the payment is confirmed. Access is created automatically and the link to set the password is sent to the email given. Where the tax identifier already exists in our records, access is granted only after the registered holder confirms it by email.

3. Price and taxes

The prices are those published on the website, excluding VAT, plus the one-off setup fee shown in the summary where applicable. Spanish VAT of 21% is added for clients in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands; no Spanish VAT is charged to clients in the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla, to EU businesses with a VAT number valid in VIES (reverse charge) or to businesses outside the EU.

4. Renewal and payment

The subscription renews automatically each period (monthly or yearly) by card or SEPA direct debit through Stripe. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it, we notify the client and, if it is still unpaid, access is limited to the subscription page until the payment is made. Data is never deleted for non-payment.

5. Cancellation

The client may cancel at any time from the client area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; the period already started is not refunded unless the law requires it. Before the end date the client may download a copy of their data.

6. Client obligations

The client provides truthful data and the documents needed to perform the service, and authorises the use of their digital certificates only for the purposes of the Plan. Representation before the authorities is formalised in the engagement letter.

7. Customer due diligence

Under Law 10/2010 on anti-money-laundering, the provider must identify clients and beneficial owners before providing certain services and may request documents. If they are not provided, the provider may suspend the service.

8. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy (https://www.consultgloballex.com/politica-de-privacidad). Data is kept for the period required by law (ten years from the end of the relationship for due-diligence documents, article 25 of Law 10/2010) and can be exported from the client area.

9. Liability

The provider's obligations are of means, not of result. Deadlines depend on the client delivering information and documents in time.

10. Governing law

Spanish law applies. The courts of the provider's registered office have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rules. The Spanish version prevails in case of discrepancy.
